Birth Doula Services

Birth can be an amazing, scary, vulnerable, joyful and life-changing experience. Having a birth doula join you along the journey of childbirth can help you have a healthy and more satisfying birth. As birth doulas, we prioritize your autonomy, comfort and vision. We provide continuous support throughout pregnancy, labor, birth and immediate postpartum. By utilizing various comfort measures, relaxation techniques, position changes, partner support, and evidenced-based education, we seek to be an invaluable addition to your birth team. 

Our services include:

  • Free consultation

  • 2 Prenatal visits at your home

  • Assistance with creating a birth plan

  • Email and phone support throughout pregnancy

  • On call 24/7 from 38 weeks until birth

  • Continuous support throughout labor, birth and immediate postpartum

  • Partner/family support during labor

  • Support during baby’s first feeding

  • 1 postpartum follow-up visit

Fees

Our Birth Doula Package fee is sliding scale based on household income. A portion of the fee is donated to Baltimore Doula Project to help fund doula services for families who do not have the means to afford a doula.
